Terms of Service — Kirihat EduCare

Effective Date: 1 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kirihat EduCare and Kirihat EduTrack — mobile applications developed and operated by Kirihat Eduprint.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using these apps you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the apps.

2. Account Creation & Sign-Up Process

Guardian accounts (EduCare): Your account is created when your school administrator registers your mobile number as the guardian of a student. You log in via OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your registered mobile. You cannot self-register — your account is activated by your school.

School staff accounts (EduTrack): Created by the school administrator and linked to your mobile number or email. You receive credentials from your school.

Account updates: To update your name, mobile number, or linked student, contact your school administrator. The administrator can update details in the admin panel.

3. School Responsibility

The school administrator is solely responsible for:

Accuracy of all data entered (student details, fee structures, results, attendance).
Obtaining informed consent from parents/guardians before enrolling students and sharing their data.
Appropriate use of the system by school staff and preventing unauthorized access.

4. Guardian Access

Guardian accounts provide read-only access to attendance records, fee status, and exam results for linked students. Guardians cannot modify any records. The school is the data controller; Kirihat Eduprint is the data processor.

5. Prohibited Use

Accessing another school's data or another student's records.
Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or tampering with the apps.
Using the apps for any unlawful purpose.
Uploading malicious content or attempting to compromise system security.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, network issues, or force majeure events. Scheduled maintenance may cause temporary unavailability.

7. Payments

Fee payments are recorded by school staff for tracking purposes. Online payment processing (if available) is handled by the school's payment provider. Kirihat Eduprint is not responsible for payment disputes between schools and guardians.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time via:

Deletion removes your login credentials. Student academic records remain with the school and are not deleted.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. Schools may also revoke a guardian's access by unlinking the guardian from the student record.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kirihat Eduprint is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the apps.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Assam, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification.
